We have entry level painter positions available to start ASAP!
You will be responsible for the following essential duties:
• Cleaning and preparing the areas of the site for aircraft painting activities
• Staging the aircraft for aircraft painting activities prior to the commencement of the aircraft painting process
• Masking activities to protect the “not to paint” areas of the aircraft
• Pre-paint preparation of the “to paint” areas of the aircraft, including but not limited to cleaning, paint
removal and sanding and abrading
• Positioning of stencils and other production aids which facilitate the aircraft painting in accordance with
customer specifications
• Mixing paint
Pay: $14 per hour for entry level; it will take a couple months, depending on your aptitude to be fully certified as an L1 Aviation Painter; by this time, most are usually ready to roll over to the company; with each competency level you will receive a pay increase (At this rate you should be a L2 within 6 months to a year and a L3 at a year+, again depending on aptitude and how much interest you put into their training curriculum and learning).
If/once you roll over (after 90 days) you will receive 6 paid holidays per year.
Shift: 7X12’s; 1st shift (7 am- 7 pm); 2nd shift (7 pm- 7 am); everyone will get at least one day off; 1st shift will rotate the day off and will also be expected to go into a night shift rotation for at least 2-3 months at a time; if you want to work night shift, you can be put on that shift permanently once you are adequately trained; rotations will be every 90 days more or less.
