*Currently Hiring Firewatch for a local shipyard* - OSHA 10 Maritime / able to attend a provided 2 day class - Must attend FW training and other training as required - Must be able to work in close confined spaces for long periods of time 8-10 hour shifts - Must be able to work at Heights above 12' while working from ladders, scaffold or other levels of the ship - Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, holidays and be on call. Must be willing and able to extinguish live fires and remain calm - Must be able to ask questions and determine what types of hot work are around you Must be able to lift, push, pull, carry 75 lbs. though-out the 8-10 hour shift - Must be able to bend, squat, crawl and kneel. - Must be able to stand for prolonged periods 8-10 hour shift Ability to withstand hot / cold temperatures Ability to enter a 18" X 36" opening - Must have a high school diploma or GED; Must be a US Citizen; Pass a 7 year background check and Drug Test
