Need Carburetor Tuned - Chevrolet 305 5.0L V8 Engine

Seeking a knowledgeable mechanic/enthousiast who has worked on carbureted engines before. I have a 1985 Chevrolet G20 Van with the 5.0L gas V8. It drives perfectly fine but the engine idles & runs roughly. At red lights, I have to shift to neutral and step on the throttle a little to keep the RPM up, otherwise the engine will sputter and stall. I know a little bit about engines and can describe the problem in more details via phone call. I can come to you or vice versa.
