Irrigation repair technician (South Sacramento) Accepting resumes for landscape irrigation technician Duties -- Job Description will include, but not be limited to: - Physically be able to perform and know all aspects of landscape maintenance and irrigation systems - Have or be willing to develop basic plant knowledge and identification skills - Spanish speaking a plus - Safely drive and frequently get into and out of trucks with trailer, including up and down steps and ramps - Must be at least 22, have valid CA driver's license, and clean DMV driving record provided at time of interview - Be able to document work performed at each account and interact with clients; maintain a high customer satisfaction - Possess a strong understanding of landscape irrigation systems, perform irrigation repairs: The ideal candidate should have advance knowledge in all phases of irrigation operation and preventable maintenance. Includes items such as valve repair, wire tracing, back-flow repair, head placement, and controller operations. Also, be familiar with two wire systems and have a solid understanding of what a water audit is and how to conduct one. - Work alone and independently at times, problem solve any irrigation issues and work with a calm and positive manner - Be interested in taking on greater opportunities and responsibility and help us grow - Background checks This is a year round position, work days Tuesday-Saturday, full or part-time hours available.
