**Please send updated resume with phone number when applying!** Shipping Shifts 6:00 am to 2:00 pm 6:00 pm to 2:00 am Hired at $20.00 per hour,.40 cent shift differential for 6:00 pm shift. $20.00/start then work 2560 hours go to $21.00 then work 2080​ hours go to $23.00 then work 2080 hours go to $24.41 then work 1280 hours go to $25.77 then work 1280 to hit journeyman at $26.30 We have attendance incentives for probationary employees Worked all hours on day shift required to include overtime receive $100.00 weekly. Worked all hours on night shift required to include overtime receive $200.00 weekly. After probationary more performance incentives can be earned during the course of the week. Each selector will learn to pick in hard breaks: wet produce, dry produce, deli, dairy, fresh meat. Atlanta might select in specific areas only, in Denver we do not, they will go where system sends them. Vocollect system, hands free system they train words to speak to system and retrieve information. Union shop, mandatory overtime is called daily or as required and can be upwards to 11.5 hour day, regular shifts are 8 hour shifts. Work hardening is 40 hours not more for the first four weeks, after that mandatory overtime if needed is required. After 90 days by CBA, full time with all benefits, ability to bid on other jobs in the warehouse, benefits, etc begin. Employees that train on morning shift will transfer to night shift before 90 days expire, if not we violate CBA. Holidays, they should expect to work them, we are historically closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas open all the rest. Thanksgiving is always a possibility to work, seniority prevails on these days Those who prefer to go to evenings right away we work to handle those accommodations most people want to work day shift. Primary Responsibility: Under general supervision, the Warehouse Order Selector will assemble and select cases from pick slots for store orders daily in an accurate, efficient, productive manner and assembles order onto plastic pallets using a Talkman and pallet jack. Essential Functions: • Prepares and loads voice template into Talkman unit for specific warehouse selecting location. • Performs visual and operational vehicle safety inspections and reports any unsafe vehicles to shift supervisor or maintenance personnel. • Responsible for ensuring that all cases and pallets are properly identified with the correct store number. • Performs count/exception on pick slot locations if quantities are less than requested by Talkman. • Secures selected cases and conducts final pallet preparations by wrapping selected load and applying shipping labels. • Prepares and places assembled case pick pallets and moves assembled pallets from picking areas to a dock door or staging area. • Observes, reports and corrects (when appropriate) all unsafe and unsanitary conditions that could cause employee and/or customer accidents. • Comply with OSHA standards. • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment. • Perform other duties as assigned, may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as needed. Qualifications & Experience: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Requires ability to work independently • Must be able to work varied schedule including weekend and early morning shifts • Requires the ability to pay close attention to details, and meet deadlines • Tools and Technology Required: Computer, Talkman and Pallet Jack • Considerable knowledge of warehouse quad layout system. • Working knowledge of all safety rules and safety procedures. • Working knowledge of the WIN system as applied to Talkman. • Working knowledge of the WIN system as applied to LTO & Loading. • Working skill in operating 870 RF units and 960 units. • Working knowledge of inbound/outbound process. • Considerable skill in efficiently lifting, stacking and building quality pallets. • Skill in operating warehouse equipment: i.e.; Pallet Jack (double and triple), Hi-lift, RC. • Ability to reach, bend, twist, stoop and lift up to and including 60 lbs frequently and 80 lbs occasionally. • Skill in meeting production standards set by the company. • Working skill in troubleshooting Talkman. • Skill in communicating effectively with supervisors and department managers. Physical Requirements: • Able to work in spaces with 55 inches of headroom • Ability to work in a 32 degree to 40-degree F environment (temperature varies within each department) for long periods of time. • Ability to work any shift including weekends. • Ability to handle empty pallets weighing up to 60 pounds. • Ability to read and perform basic math functions.
