Deceased cat oak park

There was a deceased black cat (with i think white paws) in the middle of the road on 33rd street between 5th ave and Broadway. It’s the same road as conscious creamery. It looked like it was hit by a car and someone just left them there :-( I called the city to have them removed so that people don’t keep hurting his body more etc but wanted to post here because I’d be so sad if someone kept looking for them when they passed. I lost my cat (and friend) because of the same reason and seeing her in the road was hard but it would’ve been just as hard to not know what happened or where she went. I didn’t try to find a collar but they definitely looked like a cared for kitten. Im so sorry for you loss and i hope you see this <3
