Description

Sweet poodle mix puppy was born blind. Mom is a medium size poodle. The dad is unknown but the vet thinks that Dolly will be about 40 pounds grown up. She is 8 weeks old now. Dolly got seen by a vet eye specialist who said it is congenital blindness and nothing is ongoing with the health of the puppy. There was just 2 puppies in the litter and both have blindness. Dolly is otherwise healthy, great attitude, playful and happy. She is a little shy with new things because she can't see but she gets comfortable fast. She is a black female puppy. Vet eye specialist said puppies born blind due very well because they never had vision and do good with hearing and scent to get around. Dolly is very good at getting around and eating and playing and stuff just by hearing and scent. The vet said that blind dogs need a very stable home environment. Furniture, food and water bowls and everything should be in the same place every day. And a home with childrens toys or school backpacks in different places all the time will not be good. A older and calm dog in the house could be great, but a really active or playful dog might be to much. Please let us know if you have a good home for this Dolly. We don't want a rehoming fee but CL says don't give them away for free so we will ask for $35. Email for a pic
