WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury officials last week lifted some of the city's elevated lawn-watering restrictions after Minnesota relaxed its temporary mandates to reduce water use amid a severe drought across much of the state. The city's elevated restrictions, which took effect in late July, meant residents were only allowed to water their lawns on the day their trash gets picked up, plus one weekend day. Those restrictions have been canceled, though the city's odd-even watering schedule remains in place, as does its ban on watering between noon and 5 p.m. The elevated restrictions were lifted after the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources downgraded the region to a drought watch phase, Woodbury officials said.
