2 Elmhurst Arrests For Battery: Cops

ELMHURST, IL — Elmhurst police made two battery-related arrests in the last few days. Here is information from the reports: Claudia Mallow, 33, of Elmhurst, was arrested about 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of West St. Charles Road on two counts of domestic battery. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail. She also was wanted on a warrant from Oceana County, Michigan. Thomas A. McElligott, 39, of Bloomingdale, was arrested about 4 a.m. Wednesday at Elmhurst Hospital, 155 E. Brush Hill Road, on two counts of aggravated battery. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, McElligott spat in a man's face and eyes. Another person said McElligott kicked him in the chest and punched him in the face.
