Description
BURR RIDGE, IL — A boy and a girl were seen in the grass in a Burr Ridge neighborhood, prompting a call to the police earlier this month, according to a report.
About 9:30 p.m. Oct. 2, officers were called to the area of 79th Street and Woodside Lane about a girl on top of a boy in the grass, police said. When police arrived, the pair got up and ran away, the report said. But they stopped when the officer ordered them to do so.
An investigation revealed the boy and girl were "making out" and had been drinking at a nearby party, police said. Preliminary breath tests showed the boy's blood-alcohol content was .16 and the girl's was .09, police said.
Both were charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by minors. They were released to parents.
