TUCSON, AZ — A serious crash near 1500 W. Ajo Way that left one person seriously injured is restricting traffic and caused a power outage, according to police. A car crashed into a power pole just after 3 a.m. Thursday, according to police. One of the people in the car was taken to Banner University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and the other was taken to the hospital as a precaution, police said. Traffic is restricted between S. Valley Road west to S. Holiday Isle. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area. Detectives are still investigating the crash, according to police.
