Press release from City of Tuscaloosa: October 14, 2021 Mayor Walt Maddox has appointed the City's Acting City Clerk, Brandy Johnson to replace Carly Standridge as City Clerk, effective October 25, 2021. Johnson has worked for the City of Tuscaloosa since 2016 in the Office of the City Attorney, as the Assistant City Clerk, and as the Acting City Clerk since August of 2021. "We are very excited to have Brandy as the newest department head at the City of Tuscaloosa," Mayor Walt Maddox said.
