Here are the top stories in Atlanta today: A $20 million gift from Fifth Third Bank to Atlanta's Grove Park neighborhood was officially announced Friday. The donation marks the largest single corporate gift Grove Park Foundation, a nonprofit, has received. The monies are part of Fifth Third's $180 Million Neighborhood Investment Program, in collaboration with Enterprise Community Partners, designed to accelerate the revitalization of nine majority-Black communities in seven states. The company's U.S. expansion will create approximately 50 new jobs by the end of 2021, with an estimated additional 100 jobs created by the end of 2022. Capital on Tap, which is headquartered in London, currently has an Atlanta office in Ponce City Market, where the company currently employs 15. Game 1 of the NLCS begins at 8:07 p.m., with the Braves seeking revenge for the 2020 NLCS, in which Atlanta took a 3-1 series lead before L.A. won three consecutive games to take the series and go on to beat the Tampa Bay Rays in the World Series.
