Newish Bass Player Seeking Others for Jamming

While I’ve been playing bass for close to 3 years now, it’s mostly been by myself. I’ve played some at church, but it’s only been once or twice a week for maybe 30 minutes, and the music stays pretty much the same. Not bad, just repetitive. I am looking for other people to jam with in the local area. I do not claim to be a pro, advanced in music theory, or even good, but I am someone who enjoys playing music after starting later in life (35 start, currently 38). While I mostly prefer rock and metal music, I am not opposed to playing other genres, as I just want to play and grow. As before, I don’t claim to be an expert, but I feel like I can improvise with just about anyone playing roots, thirds, fifths, and eighths. Thankfully I feel like I have pretty good timing and rhythm. If you’re in the area and are looking for a bass player to jam with, please hit me up. I have my own bass (a couple) and amp. I’m willing to travel a bit, but unfortunately not able to host at this time. Hoping to hear from someone soon. Thanks.
