FREE pet sitting - cat or dog

Long story short, the COVID lockdowns made me realize I want more time with animals, but my spouse is not ready for us to get a pet. I would love to spend time with your dog or cat for FREE if you need help. You would be expected to cover expenses like gas or pet food, but I will not charge for my time. My ideal situation would be to spend time with a friendly, affectionate cat or dog, and to sit for the same animal more than once so he/she can get to know me. I live in Hillcrest, San Diego and I’m open to arrangements within a reasonable distance. I am a young professional and I’m very responsible. I grew up with both dogs and cats (all rescues) and know how to care for them.
