The Maintenance Supervisor (Crew Leader) must possess all of the qualities of the Maintenance Lead man, be able to perform all maintenance tasks with minimal supervision in a safe manner and while employing a crew of two to four employees. Skill set and education requirements: The Maintenance Supervisor must possess the following skill set and educational background. A valid driver’s license and be insurable on company’s insurance policy Physically able to handle the work load of a Maintenance Supervisor Able to interact with clients, Account Manager(s) and subcontractors in a professional and courteous manner Responsibilities: A. Able to perform all aspects of account maintenance with minimal supervision B. Able to perform all aspects of basic enhancement work C. Able to prune trees, vines and shrubs D. Able to apply fertilizers pest control techniques properly and timely E. Thoroughly understands and complies with company policy and safety manual F. Reports and documents any / all unsafe conditions or accidents G. Properly and safely operates hand tools and maintenance equipment such as ride-on, walk-behind and push mowers; edger's, trimmers, blowers, thatcher's, over seeders, etc. H. Able to perform basic level preventative maintenance on equipment above such as oil changes, check fluid levels, check tire pressure, change blades, etc. I. Promotes a safe work environment J. Meets or exceeds company maintenance production standards K. Able to order materials L. Able to fill out and process all necessary job paperwork, purchase orders and time sheets M. Able to operate crew truck and trailer properly and safely N. Able to check crew truck fluid levels, tire pressure and inspect the same to ensure safe operation
