Description

Meet Jake. I adopted him about two weeks ago with the hopes of training him to be a service dog for my psychiatric disability, but soon realized that it would require much more work/energy than I’m able to provide. He was adopted at 2 months old by his previous owners, who gave him up at 5 months due to landlord issues and a busy schedule. He’s 40 lbs. and growing, knows some basic commands (sit, lay down, come, leave it), he sleeps in his crate, and is potty trained. He’s a very sweet dog with not an mean bone in his body. He does however bark at some strangers, mainly men, but once he’s introduced he’s as friendly as ever. He also needs work when it comes to his leash manners, but other than that Jake is a sweet, fun loving pup, with lots of energy. He loves going to the dog beach/dog park run around and play fetch with the other dogs. Jake needs an experienced/active owner with sufficient time on his/her hands to release his puppy energy, and to train him. He has all of his shots and I have all of the paperwork for it.
