Click here to apply: Job Title: AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIAN Position Purpose: To ensure customer receives complete service to his/her vehicle in a timely and professional manner and to maintain a pleasant and safe environment for customers. Job Responsibilities: Provide services to customers following procedures and standards as outlined by management for Signature Service and ancillary services including, but not limited to: Drain oil and replace filters. Check and replace automotive fluids as directed. Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical parts. Inspect mechanical components of vehicles to identify problems. Service vehicles to maintain functionality Install vehicle parts or accessories Clean vehicle for customer as outlined in JTSS documentation. When assigned as a CSA, take initial service requests and enter information into the store computer system. Understand and comply with OSHA and EPA standards. Clean workspace and facility as directed to maintain the cleanliness and general repair of the shop and property. Be available to work temporarily at nearby locations. Follow all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook and/or JTSS documentation. Other duties as requested or assigned. Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Active Learning — Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making. Equipment Selection — Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job. Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others. Manual Dexterity — The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
