About us: SewerTechs has been a leader in Cured In Place Pipe (CIPP) in the NW since 2010. This local veteran owned business is currently expanding our team to increase our capacity and address the increasing demand in sewer rehabilitation opportunities. We are looking for motivated individuals with the right attitude and aptitude to train to become a professional Trenchless Sewer Technician. The selected candidates will receive paid on-the-job (OJT) training from our Washington State recognized OJT program. This will allow you to work alongside our established certified installers. About the job: We are looking for candidates that can adhere to company policies, procedures, and local building codes. Candidates that arrive on time to appointments, willing to be proactive in assessing customer needs and condition of pipe. Ability to accurately complete legible paperwork, as required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Selected candidates will have hands on training, learning the proper usage of standard industry equipment. Such as • CCTV camera equipment • CIPP inversion equipment • Pipe clearing equipment Hydro-jetters, Picote and GI cable systems • Reinstatement equipment • Service Fusion reporting software Typical daily job assignments: • Assist in the inspection of lateral side sewer pipes • Assist in cleaning and preparing pipes for the CIPP installation. • Assist in the installation of the CIPP • Assist in the preparation of equipment and material for daily jobs • Review daily schedules, upload videos, write report findings • Performs independent tasks after receiving direction About you: Basic Qualifications: • Must have a least a high school Diploma or GED • Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week with occasional overtime. • Must be able to get to work, be dependable and punctual • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Mechanically inclined; training is provided Ability to complete applicable reports, records, and related administrative tasks as instructed and trained. Strong work ethic and the willingness to learn Ability to work safely outdoors in all weather conditions. Ability to follow procedures and comply with safety requirements. Requirements: • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions and an insurable driving record. You may be required to drive a company fleet vehicle from time to time. • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel. • Ability to do manual handling and lifting up to 50 pounds. • Pass both Drug and Background check.
