After an extended hiatus, we’re finally putting the band back together and are in need of a LEAD GUITARIST and KEYBOARD PLAYER to complete our group. Vocal skills would be a big plus, mainly for back-up and harmonizing purposes. We’ve currently got a female lead vocalist, bass and rhythm guitars and drummer in place. We’re looking for individuals who’d be willing and able to meet on a weekly basis (Tuesday evenings) and would enjoy playing a variety of music, including southern rock, blues, country, acoustic, and some classic rock. We practice in Macomb County, in the area of 13 Mile and Hayes. We believe in a very informal (yet organized), friendly environment, where all band members have an enjoyable experience with equal say. None of us has any time or interest in any drama, stress, or over-inflated egos. The goal is to start putting together some quality music now so that we’d be in a position to start playing out by the spring of 2022. Outdoor venues would be a preference, with community events, festivals, corporate and private parties, fairs and car shows all possibilities. Bar gigs would be near the bottom of our priority list. Been there, done that! Age is a non-factor. However, the current band members are in the 50s – 60s age group.
