We are currently seeking a Maintenance and Construction Technician to join our team! You will be responsible for driving to work orders assigned by the coordinator, troubleshooting the problem, and taking appropriate action to repair the problem. There are also larger remodeling and construction jobs that take a week to a month to complete. This is not an onsite maintenance position. We manage small apartment complexes and single-family homes, but most properties are close-in Portland on the east side. Work orders are assigned to techs and they manage their jobs and hours on smartphone software. Responsibilities: Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary ​Qualifications: Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields Previous experience in residential/apartment maintenance preferred Ability to travel from site to site Reliable transportation and driver's license Own maintenance tools and equipment Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented We Offer: Health Care Benefits Gas/travel reimbursement! 0.575 cents per mile Competitive compensation structure - pay based on experience and qualifications Paid holidays Paid time off Autonomy in your workday People who are responsible enough to not need constant supervision excel at this job.
