C1916SY2122 - Mechanic 2 - (8 Hours) - 2 Positions Available - Transportation Hiring Administrator: Carol Hatfield GENERAL DUTIES: Provide basic maintenance and repair to District vehicles. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or its equivalent Proficient oral and written communication skills in English Proficient in the use of computer and Internet based applications, including but not limited to email and systems applications Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a valid Oregon School Bus Driver’s Certificate or be able to obtain both within 60 days Hold an Oregon Department of Education Technician Certification, or be able to obtain one within six months Basic knowledge of the mechanical operation of vehicles Pass a pre-employment drug test Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (bilingual is defined as fluency in reading, writing and speaking two languages as determined by District screening tool) To view the full job description please visit the following link:
