Maybe you're past the glory days of gigging, but can still tear the hell outta lead guitar... GREAT !!! FRIDAY NIGHT, OCT.15 - WANNA JAM WITH US ?!?!?!? We are three SOLID players in our 50's (bass, drums, rhythm gtr, vocals) w/ families and non-musical careers, looking for an equally SOLID lead guitar player in about the same stage of life to come JAM with us once a month on random Friday nights as schedules allow, usually from 6p-10p. NO commitment necessary because we don't gig. We just like to jam and sometimes do block-parties for the neighbors. We play a variety of originals (country rock, indie rock, blues, punk, acoustic folk) and a couple of obscure covers, but no metal - so no need for a shredder. Our groove fits a more melodic, blues / southern rock type of soloist. We play what we like, make it our own, and people really dig it - go figure. When we play, we eat, drink, smoke, joke, cuss, obsess over songs, play too loud, and generally have a great time. If any of that bothers you, stay away.
