Current and Frequent Cannabis Users Needed for Cognitive Task Study

IRB Study # 1902373909 Volunteers are being sought by the Clinical and Cognitive Neuroscience Center at the IUPUI Lockefield Village Building to participate in a study involving clinical interviews, questionnaires, and a cognitive task. This study will take between 2.5-4 hours and will consist of two independent sessions. Session One: Structured interview about your past mental health, demographic questionnaires, self-report questionnaires pertaining to personality, emotional, and behavioral challenges. Session one will take approximately 30 minutes-1.5 hours. Session Two: A urine drug screen and a cognitive task. Heart rate and skin conductance measurement, as well as eight (8) saliva samples. Three more self-report questionnaires. Session two will take approximately 2 hours. All visits will take place at the IUPUI Lockefield Village Building. Requirements: 1. English as first language 2. Frequent, chronic cannabis use at the rate of at least 3 time per week for 6 months 3. Be between 18-40 years of age 4. Have normal or corrected to normal hearing and vision 5. Have successfully completed high school 6. Be in good physical health 7. No current (at least 6 months) psychiatric illness Participants will be paid $12 per hour of participation + $25-35 for completing all tasks.
