Busy construction company seeking shop technician for a full-time position. This position is the cornerstone of ensuring our fleet is well-equipped and in good working order and our supplies and equipment are functional and readily available. This role enables a self-starter to be busy all day making our operations more smooth and efficient. Pay is negotiable based on experience and aptitude, and this position offers the right person a significant amount of overtime. Duties include, but are not limited to: -Preventive maintenance and cleaning work vehicles, including light mechanical/vehicle repair (oil change, belts, etc.) (30%) -Maintenance, organization, and cleaning of approximately 4000 SF of garages and storage areas. (30%) -Minor repair/preventive maintenance work on construction tools (rotohammer, small gas engines, etc.) (20%) -Loading/unloading/organizing materials and equipment. (15%) -Light welding (1%) -Occasional pickup/delivery of materials and supplies for shop or to/from job sites. (4%) Applicant must have clean DMV Report.
