POSITION OVERVIEW The Maintenance Associate will perform a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various facilities/sites including carpentry, electrical, minor plumbing, and painting tasks; repairs and treats structures such as floors, sinks, walls, roofs, and carpets; perform minor troubleshooting, repairs and adjustments on doors, cabinets, desks, closets; reports mechanical malfunctions to appropriate party for action; moves and assists in moving furniture and equipment at various facilities/sites; sets up and breaks down cubicle partitions; identifies projects requiring the services of higher skilled craft person; completes service request and updates work logs for specific site requirements; as part of the /Maintenance team; assist with special projects periodically as directed; maintains clean, safe and order work area. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Carpentry: Performs basic carpentry repair of structures such as partitions, walls, doors, fences, window frames, office furniture, roofs, and shelves. • Electrical: Performs basic electrical repair work for switches, outlets, plugs, cables, appliances, and lighting systems; reports unsafe electrical conditions. • Plumbing: Identifies and performs basic repairs of plumbing leaks or breaks; opens clogged lines. • Painting: applies and prepares various surfaces for paint, removes or paints over graffiti; repairs wall coverings. • Pick-up and delivery materials as needed. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: • Must possess a current/valid California Drivers License. • High School/General Education Diploma or /factory certification required. • Requires 2- 4 years of entry level general experience. • The ability to work a flexible schedule which can include weekends and holidays. • Working knowledge of the standard practices and tools uses in maintenance and repair of building facilities. • Must adhere to the safety practices and procedures as it relates to the building trades • Perform a variety of physical labor including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, reaching and standing for long periods of time • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work assignments. • Basic Use of Hand Tools a plus Centinela Feed, Inc is a drugfree workplace
