Applied Behavior Technologies, LLC is seeking Tutors to work with children who have autism or other intellectual disabilities, at the child’s home or in our Sparks office. Tutors will be primarily working between the hours of 3pm - 8pm M-F. We require that you be available to work a minimum of 3 evenings per week. All training will be provided to prepare you to become a Registered Behavior Technician and pass the certification exam. All exam fees are paid for by the employer. This training and certifications prepares you to work one to one with a child, providing behavior therapy. This is a great position for those seeking degrees in psychology, applied behavior analysis, social work, HDFS, occupational therapy, nursing, speech therapy or other health related fields. The requirements for the position are a minimum of 1 semester of college. You must be at least 18 years of age. You must be able to pass a background check (paid by the employer) and have a current driver’s license. All certification fees and background checks are paid for by the employer. The salary is 14.50-18.50 with frequent increases. Comprehensive Healthcare/Dental and Optical benefits are available over 30 hours per week. If you have an RBT, your salary is negotiable and based upon your experience. Mileage is reimbursed according to IRS guidelines.
