Hello, My name is Mike. I'm an experienced 62 year old guitarist / singer / songwriter from the Scotch Plains/Fanwood area and I'm currently looking for a band to play out with on weekends. I can play both rhythm and lead guitar and can sing both lead and background vocals (depending on the range). I've been playing semi-professionally off and on since the 80s. My most recent band performed a wide variety of music including classic rock (70s and 80s mostly), some blues, some R&B, and some songs that are popular today. This most recent band broke up over covid vaccination issues (btw... I am fully vaccinated). I just recently performed this past Saturday with a different 5 piece band in Cranford, NJ at a town-wide event called "Porchfest". I've played with a number of "oldies" bands in the past so I'm probably familiar with most songs from the 50s and 60s. I play both electric and acoustic guitar and have many guitars in my collection and several amps. I also have my own mic, mic stand, and some PA equipment.
