Description

Unfortunately I need to rehome my E.L.L he comes with a new(3 months old, this animal had been the one and only occupant) 40g breeder tank, front opening. No cracks, melted plastic or broken door latches. Can also come with the dual heat and uvb lamp with new bulbs for $15 extra(originally $40) I have worked with him quite a bit, and for needed reasons he is easy to move and work with, but isn't much for being held longer than a few minutes, but is very curious and does not stay hidden or cower when you approach. These are true lizards, and not a snake, and in my opinion make a wonderful display animal that can be watched an enjoyed for hours. I do not recommend this as a pet for a child, they are somewhat fragile and holding them correctly can be a bit more challenging. His entire body is 2' long, with more than 14" of that his tail. He will let you know when he is hungry or needs something, he will be at the door waiting for a snack or time to roam in a safe place on the floor. He is not quick by any means. Though at first he tends to deathroll(yes just like an alligator, just without the end goal of ripping flesh off, he does it to try to get away, but quits when he realizes you aren't trying to eat him. These are the reasons he would NOT be suitable for a child's pet without direct adult supervision. Please email for pictures of him and his enclosure if you wish to adopt him. Just lizard, rehoming fee of $30 Lizard with cage $130($40 lower than price of cage alone) Lizard, cage, and required lights $145 These are staring to become more popular and care info is becoming better known, currently eating crickets, silversides, pinky pieces, and the occasional snail or fiddler crap, all can be found frozen for convenience of feeding. He can also eat a high quality, grain free wet dog food, but should not be the only thing he eats.
