As an Arborist Climber Trainee, you will play an important role in: Learning through on-the-job training to safely perform all aspects of arboriculture, including: Tree climbing – Pruning – Riggins- Cabling and bracing – Properly maintaining and operating equipment (hand-tools, chain saws, chippers, and aerial lifts). Implementing work zone safety: you will be working on the ground and aloft; sometimes over 120ft! Assisting with driving, backing, dumping, and backing trailers and chippers. Must show up on time with a clear head, reliable transportation, and adhere to all safety rules and company policies. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Must be willing and able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions. Valid driver license and clean vehicle record. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work. Hours are Tuesday-Friday, 10-hour workdays.
