We're hitting the trails on October 31 for another run with purpose! We've linked up with our friends at Allbirds for the launch of the Trail Runner SWT! Join the crew for a 3 mile run, jog, walk through Discovery Park at 10am on Oct 31. For every mile we run, Allbirds is donating $15 to Green Plate Special in Beacon Hill (up to $2,500)! Following the run, there will be coffee and sweets and some other surprise treats! All paces and all faces welcome! Green Plate Special is a non-profit that engages 4th-8th grade youth through after-school and in-school programs, spring break and summer camps, and evening cooking classes. Programs are curriculum-based with a progression from basic food knowledge to advanced gardening and cooking skills. The organization also enhances learning opportunities by interweaving food growing and cooking with academic subjects such as math, science, and history.
