We look forward to your joining. * Please check our company website : www.cheryindustrial.com Job Title: Heave Equipment / Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic Job Locations: Garden City, New York (NY) Job Duties and Responsibilities: 1.Heavy-duty equipment mechanics repair, troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul and maintain mobile heavy-duty equipment 2.Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required 3.Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools 4.Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment Qualifications: 1.Completion of a three- to five-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over four years of work experience in heavy equipment repair 2.Related qualified heavy-duty equipment technicians certificate preferable 3.Detail-oriented, and be responsible 4.High school or equivalent; College degree would be a plus 5.Familiar with Asian culture and markets with Mandarin Chinese language proficiency would be a big plus Benefits: Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Vision insurance Salary is negotiable depending on overall qualifications and experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $25.00 per hour
