Digital Camera Technician (Woburn MA) Assembly, testing, and installation of mechanical, optical and digital components for electron microscopes Scientific instrumentation company established in 1992 with sales on 6 continents. We are looking for a highly motivated individual / team player whose responsibilities and salary can grow with his/her experience in the company. This position provides exposure to a broad range of technical areas, including vacuum, mechanics, optics, digital imaging and computer applications. Off-site travel for installation will offer interaction with the highest level scientific laboratories across the globe. A successful applicant will appreciate being part of an international network that advances the goals of electron microscopy in both materials and life-sciences. Duties include assembly, testing, documenting and shipping of opto-mechanical assemblies and computer hardware. This person must have mechanical aptitude and be able to work with standard office programs such as Photoshop, Excel and Word. This individual will need to learn other programs required for shipping, inventory control and documentation. Traveling one week a month is required on average.
