A fun night of creative entertainment is coming to the Sterling Tavern. No TALENT needed!! Let's find your INNER ARTIST & have some fun. Grab your family and friends and head on down to the Sterling Tavern for a night of pre-holiday creative fun. Local artist and teacher, Kathy Smith will demonstrate the easy process of transferring and painting the design on to the slate. The slate is a 100+ year old 12" x 14" roofing slate that hung on an old building in Havre de Grace, Maryland before being replaced by a modern roofing system. So you'll be painting on Maryland History. A leather cord will be supplied so the finished piece is ready to hang. NO TALENT is needed just a desire to have a fun creative time and go home with a unique holiday decoration that you can proudly display. Make a night of it and plan to dine at the Sterling Tavern prior to painting. Their menu will easily please even a finicky palette.
