Description

Join this new monthly community event, bringing people together for a thought-provoking film and respectful conversation. All welcome! The Piedmont Film Club's first monthly showing features Sir David Attenborough's A Life on Our Planet. Chris Miller, President of the Piedmont Environmental Council, will introduce the film and lead discussion after. "A broadcaster recounts his life, and the evolutionary history of life on Earth, to grieve the loss of wild places and offer a vision for the future." A food truck will be available in the Grace The Plains parking lot starting at 5 p.m. The film will begin at 6 p.m. We will be watching outside, under a tent, so dress appropriately! If weather necessitates, we will be meeting inside the Parish Hall. Covid-19 precautions will be in place. We look forward to seeing you and your friends for this first of many "Third Thursday" PFC events. Born from the success of the annual Doc5 Middleburg Film Festival (third one to be held May 17-21), the Piedmont Film Club will meet once a month, generally on the third Thursday of each month, to show a movie selected to have an impact.
