Shipping/Receiving and Material Handling Clerk (willing to train) We are seeking qualified candidates with a minimum of 0-6 months of Shipping/Receiving and Material Handling experience. Candidates must possess the following skills to successfully perform the duties of this position. Work Hours (8am-5pm) 40hrs (Hours Flexible for the right person.) Pay rate Is Dependent upon experience. - Read, Write and Speak English - Good warehouse skills - Good Organization skills - Good Forklift / Pallet Jack skills ok (willing to train) - Good Scheduling skills - Good Communication skills - Detail Oriented - Mature Thinker - shipping and receiving, loads, The daily duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: -Pack Products for shipment with UPS -Help with Unloading 18 wheeler trailer and load UPS Trailer -Accept and process incoming shipments from customers and vendors -Determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed -Assist with material handling needs -Assist in assembly of orders and prepare all paperwork and labeling for shipment -Verify quantities and count independently; as required -Perform a visual inspection of products being shipped and the required data entry - Perform Deliveries / Pickups in company driver as needed (Backup role) -Learn to understand and comply with all safety and environmental requirements, company policies and shipping packaging requirements.
