Bro Brunch: "A safe space for black men to keep it 100." Austin Justice Coalition welcomes you to join us as we launch our newest program, Bro Brunch: "A safe space for black men to keep it 100." Bro Brunch will be a series of brunches led by our Community Organizer, Donald Dallas, and Executive Director, Chas Moore. Bro Brunch aims to provide a safe space for black males to be vulnerable without fearing scrutiny from their peers. "A brunch of us." is what Community Organizer, Donald Dallas called it and stemmed from the need for black mental health safe havens, in particular places where black males can be themselves. Bro Brunch will build and strengthen relationships with all who identify as black men by providing practical communication skills proven to avoid confrontation. By bridging the gap between different sectors and finding solutions to our internal issues, we will strengthen the black community as a whole. Bro Brunch will be catered by: Chef Saul Cooper and "Salt Kitchen", which is a program created by Jail To Jobs. Bro Brunch is free to all attendees. Must RSVP to attend.
