Join us for "The Patience of Mary" Contemplative Outreach retreat opportunity December 10-12 to welcome Advent in person at the grounds of the beautiful, contemplative Shalom Spirituality Center nestled quietly among the trees in the center of Dubuque, Iowa. You will have the opportunity to ponder the Mystery of Christ's coming, to go deep in the Silence and prayer opening your whole begin to God's Word and Presence. Spacious opportunities will be available to walk in quiet wooded areas, enjoy silence in ample Centering Prayer periods alone or in group settings, ponder Scripture deeply through a newly developed multi-media Lectio Divina, experience yoga prayer movements, and relax with massage therapy available to you.
