Fundraiser for Butch Walters, BBQ, Bake Sale & Raffles all day. Butch Walters, our fellow classmate of HHHS Class of ‘77, needs a lung transplant. He is going to have to move to Durham to be put on the transplant list. This will put a very heavy burden on him and his wife Sherri Heavener Walters, who is also a fellow classmate of ours. We are holding a BBQ Dinner and Bake Sale at Unity Baptist Church, which is the church that Butch and a lot of us grew up in and were very active in their youth ministry and choir. We just thought it would be fitting to get our old church family together along with lots of Hunter Huss Huskies and help them out. We will also do a raffle the day of the BBQ and be drawing every hour for a number of gifts. The final drawing will be a cash prize! Let’s keep Butch and Sherri in our prayers as they go through this long journey.
