A healing and sound bath with reiki to inspire your creative energy Join us on Saturday, October 30th at 12:00 PM at the beautiful La Tierra de la Culebra Park for a healing sound bath. Lie back in the beauty of nature and experience the soothing sound vibrations, and receive hands-off reiki energy healing. This sound bath will connect you to the spirit of your creativity, and leave you feeling relaxed and renewed. We will take inspiration from the park, a wonderful oasis of nature and art in the diverse and historic community of Highland Park. The sound bath will include crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, drums and other instruments to create a rich, multi-layered sonic experience which will put you at ease. What is a sound bath? A sound bath is a meditative experience where participants are bathed in sound waves that help to relax the nervous system, and clear energy centers. What is reiki? Reiki is a gentle therapy that promotes relaxation and a sense of calm. It supports the free flow of energy in the body, and is a wonderful complement to the auditory experience of the sound bath. For this event, hands-off reiki will be administered. What do I bring? Bring a yoga mat and blankets, pillows and other items to help you get comfortable. An eye mask or something to cover your eyes can help you relax into the experience.Dress comfortably in loose clothing, and have layers in case you get hot/cool.Optional: Bring a crystal, a piece of jewelry or another meaningful item that you'd like to infuse with the good energy of this sound bath experience.
