We will be having an official ribbon cutting/Re-Opening event on November 3rd from 12:30 – 1:30 pm with The York County Chamber.
NAMI Piedmont Tri-County acquired our new community drop-in space on the campus of Oakland Avenue Presbyterian Church in November 2020. Due to COVID 19 restrictions, we have been unable to open our doors to host events, classes, or support groups in Rock Hill. We are now excited to announce that, with safety precautions in place, we are ready to open this location on Oakland Avenue.
Please join us as we mark this momentous occasion with The York County Regional Chamber of Commerce, local businesses, dedicated community organizations, volunteers and friends. Food and beverages will be served.
Our Mission
Providing hope to those who deserve it most
NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health nonprofit organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.
NAMI Piedmont Tri-County, one of 500 affiliates working under NAMI's national umbrella, aims to rebuild hope where it’s been damaged or lost. Our focus lies in our community efforts for Lancaster, Chester, and York Counties so that those who are affected by mental illness can access our free support groups, community awareness, education, and outreach programs. We know one in five people are affected by mental illness in some way, it is our mission to help stamp out stigma and start a conversation to end the silence around mental illness!
We work with those in need, those who are underprivileged, and those who are underserved to rebuild hope and recovery for those who suffer from mental illness.
