Join Wildlands for an afternoon bike ride along the Cape Cod Canal Bike Path! Meet bike leader (Claire) at the Sandwich Marina Park. We will ride down the cape cod canal and return to the cars, completing approximately 10 miles. The cape canal is paved, flat, and accessible for all types of bikes. This will be a “no-drop” ride, meaning no rider will be left behind. Please be prepared to ride the entire distance of the ride. Bike-safe Halloween costumes are not required, but certainly encouraged! There will be a waiting list to join when the program fills. This program is weather permitting. We are adhering to state guidelines for COVID-19. Please read rules carefully before buying your ticket: • Participants must register in advance. • Participants must sign the Wildlands Trust COVID-19 Liability Waiver for Outdoor Programs virtually in advance. We will not accept hard copies at the door. This will be sent to you via Adobe Sign after you buy your ticket. • Participants must bring 100% of their own supplies: water bottles, insect repellent, sunscreen, helmet, bike, etc. • If a participant or someone in their household is ill, has symptoms associated with COVID-19, has tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 14 days, or is awaiting the results of a COVID-19 test, they are asked not to attend. • If a participant becomes ill within 14 days following their participation in the class, they contact should contact Programs & Outreach Manager Claire Johnston at [email protected]. • These programs are weather permitting. If a program has to be cancelled for weather, attendees will be notified the night before by email. The Wildlands Trust works throughout Southeastern Massachusetts to conserve and permanently protect native habitats, farmland, and lands of high scenic and ecological value in order to keep our communities healthy and our residents connected to the natural world.
