Masks are required to be worn during the event per University Regulations! Please Bring you ticket in hand or by phone with one form of I.D. What to Expect: Actor Penn Badgley (star of “Gossip Girl” and “YOU”) and Relationship Coach Dr. Nura Mowzoon are coming to Airzona State University as a part of an on going series " can we talk?" Hosted by the ASU Baha'i Culb. With society’s eyes being opened to how interdependent our needs are. Many feel there is an urgent desire for social progress like never before. Humanity now faces unprecedented opportunities -- and challenges -- in discourse. How are we having these conversations, both in our closest relationships and in wider society? And what role does media play in all of this? Penn has worked in the entertainment industry for the last twenty-five years, thinking about the effects of mass storytelling. Nura teaches at Arizona State University and specializes in the field of human relationships. Together, they are eager to start a constructive dialogue with students, exploring how to shift our style of discourse from one of contention to one of cohesion and collaboration. What is the Baha'i Club? Our club consist of ASU Students that focous on community building and out reach. On campus we are working on creating a space for meaningful conversations leading to social change!https://www.bahai.us/ The ASU Baha'i Club is a student organization based off of the major principles of the Baha'i Faith. The Baha'i Club works to promote the essential oneness of humanity, to foster a spirit of friendship and unity among all people, to break down racial, religious and other prejudices that are the greatest barriers to peace and unity in the world today, and to bring about the betterment of the world through good deeds and service to humanity. All who have an interest in contributing to these efforts, regardless of religious affiliation, are welcome to join the Baha'i club and join in its community-building efforts.
