Learn to knit and enjoy an afternoon with interesting people! Whether you are new to knitting, or you need to refresh your beginning skills, this class is for you. By making a simple coaster, students will learn the basics of knitting, including casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and how to bind off. We'll discuss how to read a simple pattern, and you'll leave with resources to keep you going. All materials provided. Ages 12 and up - no experience required Cost: $50 plus materials (approx. $20) - Pay $10 now to reserve your spot, the remainder is payable at class time (cash, check or card) Instructor: Amy Boxrud loves to work with wool, whether it is knitting, felting, or spinning.
