Description
5 year old spayed female LGD Great Pyrenees Karakachan Bear dog. She has been around our animals since 8 weeks old (goats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, longhorns, and horses) in the last year she had started killing off our feathered livestock, we don't know why. We have worked with her, but to no avail. Does well with goats. Loves her people, not aggressive towards strangers at all, but will continue to give warning barks until released. Good with other dogs, but prefers to be around males. Very food motivated, which works great for training. Needs to go to a home that is experienced with LDG, maybe even one that already has one and needs another. Would not recommend for a farm or homestead that has feathered livestock that free roams. Just became a single mother of 5 and we are having to move into town due to our rental being sold and she would be miserable. A big sweetheart with her people and is excellent with kids.
