We have extensive experience in the custom manufacturing of state-of-the-art inductors, coils and transformers. We service Industries such as medical, marine, computer test and automation utilized our consultation and expertise. Position Summary: This position is responsible for the production of precision units according to product specifications using schematics and other directions for assembly. This position will complete measuring, fitting, wiring, soldering, and testing of parts and finished product, making adjustments to units based on testing results. Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.* Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instructions.* Produces and assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.* Hand solder various components.* Select and load materials such as workpieces, objects, and machine parts onto equipment used in coiling processes.* Operate or tend wire-coiling machines to wind wire coils used in electrical components such as resistors and transformers, and in electrical equipment and instruments such as bobbins and generators.* Attach, alter, and trim materials such as wire, insulation, and coils, using hand tools.* Cut, strip, and bend wire leads at ends of coils, using pliers and wire scrapers.* Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts.* Conducts quality control checks.* Test, fault find and quality control assembled pieces, confirming test specifications in line with customer schematic requirements. Ensure that the units under test have passed all the parameters as laid down in the product schematics.* Record production and operational data on specified forms.* Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.* Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.* Other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities. Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED required with bachelor’s degree preferred. Manufacturing certifications a plus.
