LOWELL, MA — Officials are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Wednesday night in Lowell, officials confirmed Thursday. At 10:28 p.m. Wednesday, Lowell police responded to a 911 call reporting shots fired around Loring Street and Westford Street, according to a news release from the police and the Middlesex district attorney. Officers found a 20-year-old man suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Like this article?
