Grounds Cleaner/Parking Lot Management/Front Desk/Customer Service/Package Delivery Bayshore Business Center Job Duties Description Performs routine manual tasks in maintaining the cleanliness, sanitary conditions and appearance of company buildings. • o Cleaning the grounds on a daily basis, picking up, reporting trash on sidewalk to 311. o Cleaning and sanitizing interior of building, including all bathrooms, door handles, stairways, common areas, high traffic areas, commonly touched surfaces. o Breaking down cardboard boxes in recycling bin. o Taking tenant maintenance requests and reporting to management as needed. o Welcoming and assisting tenants and their guests. o Accepting packages and delivering to tenants or leaving inside their unit. o Updating information in the property management software system. o Checking visitors in. o Filing and sorting mail. o Performing daily building walks of exterior and interior, checking for any issues involving the well being of building including testing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, cleanliness, operation of any moving mechanical parts including doors, elevators, light switches, etc. Any items that appear to be malfunctioning or needing repair/preventative maintenance shall be reported to Manager or Maintenance Supervisor right away. o Controlling and monitoring parking lot to assure only tenant vehicles, vendors, and their guests are using the private parking lots. o Confronting unauthorized/unwarranted vehicles and their occupants to leave the parking lot. o Police will occasionally need to be dispatched for vehicles unwilling to move and also tow trucks to remove unwarranted vehicles from the private parking lot, responsible for coordination of these actions. o Currently you may be dispatched to the work location after hours or on weekends if there is unwarranted activity in parking lots. General Accountabilities • Cleans bathrooms, offices, hallways, and any other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing. • Disposes of infectious waste when assigned. • Empties and decontaminates trash containers, as needed. • Moves, rearranges, and dusts furniture and fixtures. • Mixes or blends routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as necessary for various tasks. • Vacuums common area interiors of hallway including, but not limited to, restrooms, hallways, lobbies, elevators, mailboxes. • Washes blinds, windows, and walls with prescribed solutions, as needed. • Sweeps and blows sidewalks, porches, parking lots, walkways, and tiled surfaces. • Operates wet/dry vacuum for cleaning hard and carpeted surfaces. • Reports needs for minor building or equipment repair to supervisor. • Replaces light bulbs and/or reports safety hazards to supervisor. • Waters grass, trims shrubs, waters plants, and performs other related duties on the grounds when assigned. • Managing parking lot, asking non tenant vehicles to leave the lot in a respectful and approachable manner. • *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications • Education: High school diploma or equivalent • Experience: Some previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience • Background Clearance: Will undergo a thorough background check relevant to building requirements • Valid California Photo ID or Driver's License • Employment Eligibility Verification Skills • Active listening, Attention to detail, Cleaning Experience • Attention to detail, Customer Service, Communication • Reporting issues or concerns to Management or Maintenance Supervisor *Please note the position does not offer benefits
