We’re helping our dear friend with her sweet foster pup & we really need help spreading the word to find her a home! Leila is a very, very sweet chihuahua around 3-5 yrs old. She is looking for a special adopter because she has special needs. She was dropped off at a shelter with a fully broken pelvis. Her body had clearly been broken (possibly deliberately) and then left to heal on its own without medical attention. She was thankfully pulled from the shelter by a rescue & has been fostered ever since. The vet said there are no surgical options to get her walking again but that does not stop her! She is brave & trucks around everywhere as best as she can. She also has her own wheelchair for longer walks. With good nutrition, love, exercise & alternative therapies dogs have improved from similar injuries. Leila has shown improvements since she was first taken from the shelter. She is in no pain & only wants love. She is one of the most loving & loyal dogs I have ever met. She’s great with other animals & kids. Please help us spread the word & let me know if you know of anyone interested in giving this sweet girl the love that she deserves. She can walk (and run and do stairs) her back legs just don’t work. Without the wheelchair, she’s really great about getting around on her own, she’s very brave & loyal & strong. She just wants to be wherever you are 💗
