MERIDEN, CT — A months-long road closure and detour will end as construction of the Kensington Avenue bridge is complete, The Meriden Record-Journal reported. The bridge's reopening was delayed due to a traffic light that needed to be replaced.
Work on the bridge and its culverts began in early spring. The project is part of a $22 million citywide flood control initiative.
